About our Instructor!
- S.I.G.H.T.S is owned and operated by Instructor Jason Leenders. Jason has over 23 years in law Enforcement experience and over 7 years of training cadets at the Academy! Jason is P.O.S.T.C certified in both pistol and shotgun and Use of Force. Jason holds multiple firearms certifications Including the NRA Basic Pistol and more. Jason has been training in Brazilian Jiujitsu for the past 19 years, is currently holds the rank of black belt and is a level 5 instructor of the Officer Survival Series (where he helps train officers in using jujitsu to help peacefully control individuals, and return home safely to their loved ones at the end of their shift). Jason also offers pistol permit course, private shooting and Jiujitsu/Self Defense Classes. Jason Teaches and offers first aid and advanced medical courses, such as the Stop the Bleed course, (Tourniquet, Pressure Bandage, Quick Clot and Hyfin Chest Seals). All you have to do is call and set up a date and time for a Private class, we will train you to get the skills that you need to defend yourself!!
